Giggles

Kyle was doing karate moves to make Anaya laugh.  She thought it was hilarious!
I've never heard her laugh like this before.

Fun at the Children's Museum

Yesterday, I took Anaya to the Children's Museum along with my Mom, Paige, Isaiah and Regan.  Admission to the museum is free on MLK day.  It's usually very crowded so we went early to avoid the masses.  We had alot of fun participating in the Freedom March, watching the Asante Children's Theatre, playing in Playscape and touring the Dinosphere.

The first thing we did when we got to the museum was the Freedom March.  We walked around the second level of the musuem singing "We Shall Overcome".

Playscape @ The Children's Museum

We tried to get Anaya to crawl through this tunnel. She stayed in the same spot for a while. Even though I was at the other end trying to get her to come to me, she didn't know what to do.

We finally got her to move forward but when she got to the divide between the tunnels, she didn't want to move forward anymore. I had crawl in there and pull her forward.

Yay! She finally made it out the other side!

This is one of the play areas for children 2 and younger. I had so much fun just watching her play.

I know. This is kind of gross...but I had to get a picture before I peeled her away from the mirror.

She was a little over stimulated by all the toys so...
...I put her back on the floor.

She really enjoyed the slide!

All that playing made her very tired!

Resting on the couch

About 2 weeks ago, Anaya got sick for the first time.  She had a fever of 101.4 degrees and was vomiting.  She also had really bad cough and a runny nose.  If you look closely, you can see the stream of snot oozing from her nose.  A few days after Anaya got sick, Kyle got sick.  He and Anaya took quite a few naps on the couch.

Everyone is feeling much  better now!  Anaya's fever is gone.  She still has a cough but it's not nearly as bad as it was last week.

Let me see you clap your hands!

Posing

I don't think Anaya was actually posing for this picture but it looks like she was striking a pose. Tyra Banks betta watch out!

Anaya's 1st Christmas

Anaya got to open her first gift on Christmas Eve. With help from Grandma...

...and Mom, she finally got it opened!

Kyle didn't really like this outfit but, I couldn't resist. She looked so cute!

This was the first time her Great-Grandpa was able to hold her.

Anaya didn't really get the chance to open many gifts on Christmas Day. She fell asleep shortly after this picture was taken.

Later, Anaya spent some time playing with her new toys.

All the great-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild pictured here with Grandmother.

Anaya really enjoys playing with her new toys. Thanks to all who contributed!

Christmas Banquet

The following pictures were taking at our church's christmas banquet.

Someone wanted to get pictures of the baby girls together. Anaya is the youngest of the four. People started cheering to get the girls to smile and Anaya started waving at everyone. It was too cute!

Anaya was the first to win a door prize!

A professional Photographer was there to take family pictures. We took one by ourselves and one with my family.
